How are you? How is your soul? And your spirit? And your health, wealth and wellbeing? These are all essential questions to ask ourself? reflect on? And perhaps take necessary actions, pathways to make the changes that are ripe for harvest. This is a super potent, powerful and magical time in the universe, especially in the invisible realms. It is a great season of change, you will notice outwardly in many parts of the world, the season is changing. So how can you welcome in a new season, gracefully, consciously, mindfully, lovingly and with an impact in areas of your life that matters?

Well this is where prayers can help. Usually when we pray, we are connecting with the invisible realm, what we usually can’t see with our naked eyes. Praying to God, to Jesus, to Mohammed, to our ancestors, to Buddha, to Orisas…… calling in help, support, healing and guidance from the invisible realms. To open doors of blessings, either for ourselves, loved ones, community or all of existence.

The previous writing sent last week is the first part to this writing. You may refer to that writing to connect more with the symbolism, structures and why’s of prayers. This week as promised, I write about the benefits of prayer(s), one or two simple prayer structure to follow for those new to praying, for anyone wishing to improve their prayer life, or simply to create a structure that can be worked with consistently for praying. Lets dive straight in.

Benefits of Prayers

Before anything becomes physically manifested in the physical world, somewhere in the universe, it is first created energetically. Let’s take a couple struggling to have a child for example. Before the child starts to develop in the mother’s womb, the energy of the child exists somewhere, so the potential to create that child is there. Until someone, or two people decide to have a child, the child solely exists in the energetic field of the invisible realm. Should a person, or two people, or more pray for this child to be born, and the prayers answered, the prayers will activate the possibilities of the mother becoming pregnant with a child. Eventually with the right care and support, the child will become birthed in the world. This is not to say people don’t naturally have children without praying.

One of the main benefits of prayer(s), is it opens what is sometimes known as “closed energetic doors”. Prayer activates the mystical sides of life, the mysteries of the Divine, where it is about simply trusting, believing, being faithful and surrendering to Divine wisdom, Divine consciousness, Divine Blessings, Divine favour, Divine guidance and Divine timings. To pray the mind is worked with, so is the body, the depth of the soul and spirit. With some comprehension and understanding, we know what we are requesting, giving thanks for, asking support for, or for Divine Guidance, Healing, Divine revelations……..

What usually may not be known, are the manifestations of the prayers. When we simply let go of the how, let go of the logical mind, we can simply pray and allow our prayers to be manifested in the best possible way, that serves our highest consciousness thereby serving the highest consciousness of all. Prayer is reassuring, prayer is reaffirming, prayer calms the spirit, prayers nourishes the soul, prayer creates a closer connection with the Divine, prayers comforts a troubled spirit, prayers heal, prayers becomes miracles, praying is Divine love manifested in the form of energy. Praying heals the soul, praying connects us to the invisible realms, praying is healing, praying calms a troubled soul. There are many benefits to prayers. What other benefits can you think of?

For many people not used to the concept of praying, how to pray can be a barrier to praying. Praying is simply a way of speaking to the Divine, to invisible forces, that guides and support us on our life’s journey. For example one could pray to Angel Michael for protection, to Buddha for peace and calmness, to nature for healing and to be grounded. Prayers can take many forms and can pass through different channels.

Simple Prayer Structure 1

1. Opening. Opening could be a simple hello God I am here speaking to you. Create an opening that is simple for you to remember, say, speak, sing or meditate upon.

2. Praise. The force you are praying to. For example great spirit you are mighty, you are wonderful, you are marvellous…….

3. Thanks Giving. Give thanks for where you have come from, where you are, where you are going.

4. Forgiveness. Ask for forgiveness for your any mistakes or wrong doing, especially when praying to God. Forgive yourself, forgive all.

5. Closing. Here you can say anything else you want to add, or/and a word of affirmation to close the prayer. Such as Amen, Om, Ase, Aho or whatever word means and so it or it is done to you.

Remember the space created for prayer is important. The attitude towards prayer, and prayer points (what is being prayed for) are all very important. If new to praying, choose a quiet and comfortable space where there will be no disturbance.

Simple Prayer Structure 2

1. Praise. Start with praising the force to be prayed to. For example you are great and powerful force. I see your presence in my life……..

2. Develop pure Divine unconditional love for the force that is been calling upon. Develop pure Divine unconditional love for yourself and for all of existence. These opens the door to one of the highest energies for manifestation, connection and response.

3. Request. Request is going straight to the why of praying. For example, have simply come to ask for blessing for my daughter, so she can give birth easily in a supported and loving environment.

4. Give Thanks. Give thanks like the prayers have been answered. For instance, thank you my daughter has safely delivered her baby in a supported and loving environment

5. Closing. As previously mentioned, here you can say anything else you want to add, or/and a word of affirmation to close the prayer. Such as Amen, Om, Ase, Aho or whatever word means and so it is, or it is done to you.

Worship

Worship is another form of prayer. If you sense you need to connect to the Divine, to any force that guides and support you to be in your highest consciousness, you can simply connect through worship. Worship can take the form of playing music and sounds that connects you to the force you are praying to. Worship could also be joining a group that are in alignment with your values, with your way of living. For example going to a church or a temple.

Loving Advice

Prayer is the master key to resolving any situation that needs clarity, healing, guidance, provision, support or/and help. Prayer can move mountains, prayer can be a form of therapy. Prayer is a medicine for the troubled soul. Prayer has been one of the most healing tools, medicines, support have experienced. Therefore, here is an encouragement for you to pray frequently, lovingly. Not only when you desire things, but also to give thanks, to connect to the Divine, to connect to all the forces that guides and support you on your life’s journey.
